Mystery Chicken Eater...

We have had a animal come and eat our chickens these last couple of weeks. We do not know what kind of animal it would be. Luckily it was not our dog Berwin that usually does that to our chickens. Whatever it is it sure does not leave anything...but the feathers. Hopefully Berwin will chase out the animal that is eating our chickens. (And poor Mrs. Tick-tock died.)

Cousin's Horses

I went to South Carolina and visited my cousins that live on a ranch. They have four horses right now and they are leasing one more. My cousins horse Peanut got sick and they had to lease a horse named John. I rode a horse named Dream. My favorite horse there is named Merlin. He was forgot by his old owners and got sick and hurt really badly on his legs and other parts of his body. It is a miracle that he is still alive. Merlin is my favorite horse in the whole world. I am so glad I have great cousins and horse cousins! (the black one is Merlin and the brown one is Dream)

New Chick!

Our hen Fluffy layed on an egg again and had a beautiful little white chick! I dont know if it is a boy or girl yet, but I did name it Fruit loop. He or she is starting to grow her long feathers now. I hope it is a girl. She or he is a very shy chick when she is around us. I hope he or she will grow up and be a good hen or rooster for us some day (and hope no wild animal eats her).

Good-Bye Rocky

We sold our La Mancha buckling Rocky. We found out that we sold him to an old friend that now lives on a farm. I was very glad that he went to a loving home. His sister Rosie was upset when he left her. We had a hard time catching him to get him in the car. I think he was very scared to go somewhere else. Most of the time La Mancha bucks are used for meat, but Rocky went to a home to be the King of the Herd! I hope he is having  a great time living with a new family.
